Christopher Comley is a litigation associate who supports clients in commercial, employment, aviation, maritime, and class action matters. His work includes legal research and writing, discovery, mediation preparation, and drafting key motions, including successful motions to dismiss and post‑trial briefing.

Chris is experienced in all phases of trial preparation, from developing examination outlines and coordinating expert witnesses to arguing motions in limine. He has contributed to multiple trial teams, including a recent defense verdict, which he is now helping to defend on appeal. He also assists the firm’s employment group with wage‑and‑hour class actions involving the Washington Minimum Wage Act (WMWA) and rest‑ and meal‑break claims.

Before joining Stokes Lawrence, Chris was a public defender, where he developed strong advocacy and courtroom skills that ground his approach to civil litigation today.
