Ella Van Troba is a member of the firm’s litigation team in Yakima, where she assists with a broad range of litigation matters. Her work includes drafting pleadings and motions, managing discovery, and supporting attorneys and clients through all phases of the litigation process.
As a Stokes Lawrence summer associate in 2025, Ella developed a strong foundation in the firm’s collaborative culture while working alongside attorneys across multiple practice areas. She brings a thoughtful, team-oriented approach to her work and is committed to providing responsive, client-focused service.
Born and raised in Yakima, Ella returned to her hometown to practice law and serve the community she proudly calls home. During law school, Ella participated in the University of Washington School of Law’s Mediation Clinic and later volunteered as a mediator with the King County Dispute Resolution Center, helping parties navigate disputes through collaborative problem solving.
Ella earned her J.D. from the University of Washington School of Law in 2026 and is currently awaiting admission to the Washington State Bar Association.
