Saul Tilden Recognized as 2024 Volunteer of the Year by Central WA Legal Aid
Saul Tilden, a Stokes Lawrence Velikanje Moore & Shore attorney, has been recognized as a 2024 Volunteer of the Year by Central WA Legal Aid. This prestigious award highlights Saul’s unwavering commitment to providing pro bono legal services to underserved communities in Central Washington.
Saul, who specializes in estate planning & administration, has demonstrated a remarkable dedication to advancing access to legal services. Over the past four years, he has contributed over 40 hours of pro bono work, assisting clients with wills, legal forms, and estate planning education. In 2024, Saul worked with CWLA to develop a wills clinic, where he gave a complimentary presentation and wills and estate planning advice to individuals who attended the session.
“Saul embodies our firm’s commitment to community service and making a meaningful difference in the lives of those who need it most,” said Theresa Wang, firmwide managing partner. “We are incredibly proud of his achievements and dedication to the legal profession.”
The CWLA Volunteer of the Year award is given annually to attorneys who exemplify excellence in pro bono work and a steadfast commitment to providing access to legal services. Saul’s recognition underscores the vital role that legal professionals play in strengthening communities and ensuring equal access to justice for all.
“The work I do volunteering for CWLA is, without a doubt, the work that makes me feel the most fulfilled and the most like I’m making a positive difference in the world,” said Saul. “It’s also been a great way to get to know the CWLA team and more of the Yakima Valley legal community.”
A graduate of the University of Washington with a degree in history, Saul went on to complete his J.D. at the University of California, Los Angeles. He moved to the Yakima Valley to practice law, where he has enjoyed exploring the area and meeting people from different backgrounds.
