OverviewSofia Ellington is a litigation associate based in the firm’s Seattle office. Her practice encompasses many areas of civil litigation, drawing on a broad range of legal experience in state, federal, and tribal courts. Sofia assists with drafting dispositive motions and appellate arguments, legal research, and all aspects of discovery.Before joining private practice, Sofia served as a legal extern with the Washington State Court of Appeals, where she conducted in-depth legal research and drafted judicial opinions in a range of appellate matters. Additionally, she worked as a legal intern at the Washington Attorney General’s Office, where she assisted with drafting motions in state and federal courts and prepared attorneys for oral arguments on appeal. Sofia was also a member of the University of Washington’s Tribal Court Clinic and worked in the Muckleshoot Tribal Court.
