Shannon has over 25 years of experience in intellectual property and business law, with a focus on trial and appellate litigation, intellectual property licensing and corporate transactions.
Shannon has represented clients from a broad range of industries in high-stakes trademark, copyright, trade secret, and patent litigation in federal district and appellate courts nationwide. In addition to her litigation practice, she advises clients on marketing and promotional activities, and on the acquisition, protection and enforcement of intellectual property rights; and drafts and negotiates a wide range of license, development, manufacturing, acquisition and operational agreements.
Shannon’s mediation practice focuses on helping parties resolve their disputes in a professional, confidential, and expeditious manner, so they can get back to their productive business. Shannon has been accepted by the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington as a Civil Rule 39.1 Neutral for its Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Program, and is a registered neutral with the American Intellectual Property Law Association.
