Claire Taylor represents businesses and individuals in a range of civil litigation matters with a focus on creditors’ rights, contract, and real estate disputes. Claire advocates for her clients before litigation begins, continuing through motions practice and trials in state and federal court, arbitrations, and mediations.

With her creditors’ rights practice, Claire assists creditors and businesses with enforcing promissory notes and guarantees, foreclosures, receiverships, workout negotiations, protecting and enforcing their rights in bankruptcy, and collecting outstanding commercial debt.

Claire’s business litigation practice includes representing commercial landlords, tenants, and property managers in lease disputes and evictions, pursuing breach of contract cases to achieve recovery and collect on amounts contractually due, defending breach of contract matters, and resolving real estate matters, including lawsuits for quiet title and partition.

Leveraging her background as a litigator with the U.S. Department of Justice Tax Division, Claire also advocates for clients in IRS audits, appeals, and U.S. Tax Court, assists clients with issues involving federal tax liens, and resolves other tax controversies for her clients.
