Leading Real Estate Attorney Serena Sayani Appointed to University of Washington’s Runstad Advisory Board

Serena Sayani, a shareholder in the Stokes Lawrence Real Estate and Business practice, has been appointed to the University of Washington’s Runstad Advisory Board, which supports the university’s nationally recognized Runstad Department of Real Estate.

The Runstad Advisory Board is composed of leaders from across the real estate industry who provide critical guidance to the department and its students. The Board works closely with faculty to shape the curriculum, ensuring students gain exposure to current best practices and real-world problem-solving. Board members also foster student-industry connections through networking events, such as the annual Leadership Dinner, and by mentoring students on career development and internship opportunities.

“I’m honored to join the Runstad Advisory Board and contribute to the development of the next generation of real estate leaders,” said Serena. “The Board’s commitment to fostering academic excellence, industry engagement, and practical experience is deeply aligned with my passion for mentorship and advancing the profession.”

At Stokes Lawrence, Serena advises clients on a wide range of real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and development, with a particular focus on complex, multi-party negotiations. She also represents clients in business transactions and governance matters, drawing on her collaborative, solutions-oriented approach to help clients achieve their goals.
