Serena Sayani Elected to WSBA Board of Governors

Stokes Lawrence Shareholder Serena Sayani has been named to the District-7 South WSBA Board of Governors. The Board of Governors is the governing body for the Washington State Bar Association. It determines the general policies of the bar and approves its budget each year. Serena will begin her three-year term in late September.
Serena helps lead Stokes Lawrence’s Real Estate and Business practices. Her practice focuses on acquisitions, dispositions, development, construction and leasing. She has structured complex real estate transactions for office, hotel, retail, multifamily and industrial projects across the United States. Her clients include real estate investment trusts, public and private pension plans, tax-exempt investors, developers, and other businesses.
In addition to her upcoming role on the Board of Governors, Serena is an active member of the WSBA Diversity Committee, the Stokes Lawrence Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee, and the KCBA Martin Luther King, Jr. Luncheon Committee. She also serves as a board member for CREW Seattle (Commercial Real Estate Women) and the Co-Chair of the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee for NAIOP Washington.
