Whitney Cooper Joins Board of Directors for Yakima Society for Human Resource Management

Stokes Lawrence Velikanje Moore & Shore is pleased to announce that Whitney Cooper will join the Yakima Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) Board of Directors, effective January 1, 2025. As the trusted authority on all things in the workplace, SHRM is the foremost expert, researcher, advocate, and thought leader on issues and innovations impacting today’s evolving workplaces.
“I am honored to join the Yakima SHRM Board of Directors and look forward to collaborating with an incredible team of HR professionals,” says Whitney. “Together, we aim to drive initiatives that support and elevate the HR community in Yakima, fostering growth, innovation, and excellence in our field.”
Whitney joined the firm in March 2022 as the human resources coordinator. In her role, Whitney assists with all internal and external HR-related inquiries, including benefits administration, new employee orientation, and recruiting support. Outside of the office, Whitney runs Wandering Hop Brewery with her husband, Nathan.
