Charles (Charley) Howarth is the Director of Finance at Stokes Lawrence, where he partners closely with firm leadership to support strategic decision-making and ensure the accuracy, transparency, and integrity of the firm’s financial operations. He brings more than 25 years of accounting and finance experience, with deep expertise in U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, and audit.
Charley has held senior finance roles across real estate, development, and investment organizations. In these roles, he has overseen GAAP-based financial reporting, improved cost reporting processes to enhance visibility and decision-making, and led operational initiatives that strengthened financial performance. He has significant experience managing complex financial reporting, directing audits, and building and mentoring high-performing accounting teams.
At Stokes Lawrence, Charley leads the firm’s accounting operations, including financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow management, and internal controls. He collaborates with firm leadership to provide financial insights, support long-term planning, and drive the firm’s continued growth.
