Stokes Lawrence is pleased to announce the launch of its Trust & Estate Appellate Litigation team, a dedicated group of attorney sand professional staff focused on handling appeals arising from trust, estate, guardianship, fiduciary, and probate disputes throughout Washington State and the Pacific Northwest.
Building on the firm’s longstanding Trust & Estate Litigation practice, the new team brings together attorneys with extensive experience navigating the complex legal and procedural issues that frequently arise on appeal. The team represents fiduciaries, beneficiaries, family members, businesses, and charitable organizations in appellate matters involving will and trust contests, fiduciary disputes, estate administration, guardianships, powers of attorney, and related issues.
“Trust and estate disputes often involve significant financial interests, complex legal questions, and longstanding family dynamics,” said Kristen Fisher, cochair of the team. “Appeals require a distinct skill set focused on legal analysis, written advocacy, and strategic issue development. Our specialized appellate team is positioned to guide clients through every stage of the appellate process.”
