Kelly Noonan and Josh Harms Spoke at the Lawyers Associated Worldwide 2022 Annual General Meeting

Stokes Lawrence associate, Josh Harms, presented on Friday, October 14 on the fundamentals of NFTs. Co-presented with Farrah Ross Appleman, Marketing Director at Gilded Inc., “Tokenizing the Future: NFT Fundamentals and Business Implications” provided a 101-style overview of NFTs, blockchain, and web3, with an emphasis on the foundational information necessary to approach NFT-related client matters. The discussion also included basic business, operational, and accounting implications, as well as intellectual property and fraud concerns.

Kelly Noonan, managing shareholder, was a panelist on the final day of the Annual General Meeting. “Every Referral Matters: Here’s Why,” was moderated by Leon Loganathan of Ward Keller (Darwin, Northern Territory, Australia) and focused on why small referrals can make a big impact and provide hidden opportunities.

The 2022 Lawyers Associated Worldwide Annual General Meeting was held in New York, New York October 12-15, 2022.
