Estate Planning Associate - Seattle
We are seeking an associate with two to three years of relevant experience to join the top-tier estate planning practice in our Seattle office. Ideal candidates will have experience working with clients and handling various types of estate and trust matters, including the drafting of wills, trusts, powers of attorney, healthcare directives and related documents, assisting with the administration of trusts and probate estates, and providing tax support and tax research with the preparation and filing of federal and state estate tax returns. Familiarity with the Internal Revenue Code and Treasury Regulations relevant to estate and gift tax planning preferred. Candidates must have outstanding academic achievement and superior analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills. LL.M. in Taxation is preferred, but not required.
Compensation for this position will be determined based on the individual’s qualifications and experience. For second to third year candidates, the expected salary range is between $145,000 - $153,000 and includes opportunities for a non-discretionary hours stipend of up to $15,000 per quarter. Stipend amounts begin at 1400 annualized hours. Additional opportunities for a discretionary annual bonus.
