Business Associate (Senior) – Yakima, WA or Seattle, WA

Stokes Lawrence is seeking a senior associate in Yakima or Seattle to join our premier Agriculture and Business Law practice. This position offers the opportunity to work with one of Washington State’s leading agricultural legal teams, serving clients who are key players in the state’s $184+ billion agriculture industry. Our work spans a wide range of sophisticated transactional work with direct client interaction and a collaborative team of experienced professionals. This role is ideal for someone looking to deepen their practice and learn from industry leaders.

About the Team

Our agriculture practice is anchored by a highly skilled and deeply experienced group based in the Yakima Valley. About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to lead complex deals, engage directly with a well-established client base, and collaborate closely with experienced colleagues in a dynamic, mentorship-rich environment.

While prior experience in the agriculture industry is not required, we value candidates who bring a strategic mindset, a commitment to excellence, and a desire to shape and grow a transactions-based practice.

We are looking for:

  • 5+ years of legal experience, with a strong background in business, real estate, or transactional work.
  • A proven record of client management, deal execution, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Exceptional analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Yakima, 5 - 8 years: $121,000 - $174,000*
