Valerie Walker begins her term as Chair of the King County Bar Association (KCBA) Intellectual Property Section today, July 1. In this leadership role, Valerie will guide the section’s efforts to provide educational programming, foster professional development, and build community among IP practitioners in the region. Valerie succeeds fellow Stokes Lawrence attorney Joshua Harms, who served as Chair for the past year.
Valerie focuses her practice on intellectual property and employment. Valerie’s intellectual property practice includes advising clients on trademark and copyright strategy, enforcement, and litigation. Her practice spans various industries, including technology, apparel, food and beverage, and creative services. Known for her strategic thinking and collaborative approach, Valerie helps clients protect and enforce their valuable IP assets with clarity and confidence.
