Stokes Lawrence Elects Kristen Fisher as Firm Shareholder, Effective January 1, 2025
Stokes Lawrence, P.S., a leading law firm with offices in Seattle and Yakima, is pleased to announce that Kristen Fisher has been named a shareholder, effective January 1, 2025.
Kristen, an experienced litigator, has been with Stokes Lawrence since March 2023, focusing her practice on contested trust and estate matters under the Trust and Estate Dispute Resolution Act (TEDRA), Vulnerable Adult Protection proceedings, and Title 11 guardianship proceedings. She also represents and counsels fiduciaries in probate and trust administration matters. Known for her compassionate yet practical approach, Kristen has a proven track record of successfully resolving contested cases through mediation and is recognized as a formidable litigator in complex and challenging issues.

Kristen earned her J.D., cum laude, from Seattle University School of Law in 2005, where she served as an Associate Editor of the Seattle University Law Review and received the CALI Award for Achievement in Trusts and Estates. She obtained her B.A. in Political Science, International Political Economy, with a minor in Anthropology, from the University of Washington in 2001. She is admitted to practice in Washington and the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington.
Throughout her career, Kristen has been recognized for her excellence in litigation, including being listed in The Best Lawyers in America for Litigation—Trusts and Estates. She has also been involved in several notable appellate cases, demonstrating her expertise and commitment to her clients’ success.
