Areas of Practice
Emily Zughaib is a litigation associate based in the firm’s Seattle office. Before joining the firm, Emily worked as a summer associate at Karr Tuttle Campbell, where she drafted dispositive motions, assisted with discovery, and advised clients on multi-jurisdictional employment law compliance.
During law school, Emily externed with Judge Bradley A. Maxa at the Washington Court of Appeals, Division II, and with the Seattle City Attorney’s Office, Torts Division, where she worked on civil appeals and motions practice and assisted with depositions. Emily was also a member of the University of Washington’s Tribal Court Clinic and worked in the Tulalip Tribal Court.
Prior to law school, Emily worked with a law firm in Ann Arbor, Michigan, where she represented clients in administrative hearings for unemployment and Title IX investigations. Emily managed a broad caseload of employment and civil rights matters.
Emily is Chippewa Indian from the Sault Ste. Marie Tribe.

Background & Interests
Outside of the office, Emily enjoys spending time outside with her husband and herding dogs. She loves to create and can be found making New York Times recipes or painting greeting cards.
