Stokes Lawrence Velikanje Moore & Shore is pleased to announce that J. Patrick Shirey has joined the firm’s Yakima office. Pat’s practice includes estate planning, probate and trust administration, and estate litigation, as well as transactional work and other closely held business representation. He comes to the firm from Lyon Weigand & Gustafson, where he practiced for nearly 20 years. Pat joins the highly regarded Stokes Lawrence Estate Planning & Administration and Business practices, where he will continue to advise individual clients on estate planning, estate and trust administration and litigation, and elder law. He will also assist business clients with transactional matters.

Pat earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame, where he graduated magna cum laude, and his law degree from the University of Oregon School of Law. A Yakima native, Pat is highly regarded in the legal community, earning the highest peer-review rating of “AV” from well-known legal publication Martindale-Hubbell.
