Stokes Lawrence is pleased to announced that Alan Schulkin has joined the firm’s Financial Services practice. He comes to the firm from Schulkin Rein, where he practiced for 15 years, the last seven with partner Lisa Rein.

Alan has practiced for 34 years, the last 30 of which have been both as in-house counsel for financial institutions and with his own firm, representing financial institutions in all aspects of commercial lending, including tax-exempt bond financing.

“We are thrilled that Alan has joined our firm,” said Managing Shareholder Kelly Noonan. “He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience that complements the backgrounds of our existing corporate and financial services teams.”

Although he will be based in Stokes Lawrence's Seattle office, Alan will be working closely with financial institution clients throughout the states of Washington and Oregon.

Prior to establishing his own firm, Alan served as vice president and senior counsel to Rainier National Bank, which evolved to Security Pacific Bank Washington, then to Seattle-First National Bank, and eventually to Bank of America.
