Stokes Lawrence announced the expansion of its Real Estate practice with the addition of attorneys Erin Howshar, Serena Sayani, Julia Osher Clark and David Rubenstein, and paralegals Sarah Prodzinski and Kay Brittain. Prior to joining the firm, they were with McNaul Ebel Nawrot & Helgren.
Led by Erin and Serena, the team brings vast experience to the Stokes Lawrence Real Estate practice. Erin advises clients across the country on billions of dollars of real estate financing transactions , including secured, unsecured, mezzanine, participating, and private placement debt facilities. She also works with clients with a range of commercial real estate agreements, including purchase and sales, development and construction, joint ventures, property management agreements, leasing agreements, and complex commercial office, industrial and medical office leases. Serena assists clients with complex multimillion-dollar development and construction projects as well as acquisitions, dispositions, and office, industrial and retail leasing. Both Erin and Serena have worked on cross-border transactions and real estate investment trust entity formations, and have structured complex transactions for office, hotel, retail, multifamily and industrial projects across the United States. Both are accredited by the U.S. Green Building Council as LEED Green Associates in connection with sustainable development and operation of real estate projects.
Both David and Julia guide clients through the real estate lifecycle, assisting with purchase and sale transactions, financing, leasing, management, easements, and commercial development.
Sarah and Kay each have decades of paralegal experience and assist with entity formations and dissolutions, corporate and LLC maintenance, title and survey reviews, and preparation of standard real estate and corporate documents.
