The Puget Sound Business Journal named Stokes Lawrence Real Estate lawyer Serena Sayani its Up and Coming Commercial Real Estate Attorney for 2019. This award is one of the publication’s Commercial Real Estate Leadership Awards, which highlight innovative and influential thinkers whose leadership impacts the region. To be selected, award recipients needed to be nominated and selected by a panel of judges made up of experts in the field.

“I am deeply honored to receive this recognition. This has been an exciting time to be involved in commercial real estate in Seattle. The CRE projects my colleagues and I are working on are making a huge impact on the changing landscape and growth of this city. I am humbled and thankful to be selected for this award by other leaders in the industry,” said Serena.

Serena’s commercial real estate practice focuses on acquisitions, dispositions, development, construction and leasing. She has achieved accreditation from the U.S. Green Building Council as a LEED Green Associate in connection with sustainable development and operation of real estate projects. She is active in local commercial real estate organizations, including serving as co-chair for the Emerging Leaders Committee for Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW), as a member of the CREW Programs Committee, as a CREW mentor, and a member of the Diversity and Inclusion Committee for NAIOP.

“I am not surprised that Serena was selected for this honor,” noted Managing Shareholder Kelly Twiss Noonan. “She is an outstanding attorney who has been a great asset to our firm’s thriving Real Estate practice. We are lucky to have her as part of our team and pleased that leaders in the industry recognize her talents.”
