George Velikanje Marks 50 Years of Legal Service

Stokes Lawrence Velikanje Moore & Shore attorney George Velikanje celebrates 50 years of practicing law this month. George was admitted to the Washington Bar on October 7, 1965. He joined his father Fred as part of the Velikanje law firm, which would eventually grow to become Velikanje Moore & Shore. In 2007, George, along with colleagues John Moore, Morrie Shore, Brendan Monahan and Sarah Wixson, opened the Yakima office of Stokes Lawrence Velikanje Moore & Shore.
George has an estate planning, probate and trust practice, and has served a number of his clients for many years, including multiple generations of some families. He is known for his no-nonsense, practical advice when helping clients develop plans that fit their specific situations.
He is regularly recognized as a leader in the field by industry publications, such as Washington Super Lawyers and The Best Lawyers in America, has received the highest peer review rating from legal directory Martindale-Hubbell, and is a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel.
