Claire Taylor Joins Stokes Lawrence's Financial Services Group

Stokes Lawrence announced today that Claire Taylor has joined the firm’s Financial Services Group. She will be assisting businesses and individuals in a range of financial matters.
She comes to the firm from Colvin + Hallett, where she assisted clients with tax disputes, IRS audits, tax defense and civil litigation. Prior to that she was a litigator with the U.S. Department of Justice Tax Division.
Claire assists creditors with protecting and enforcing their rights in bankruptcy, loan documentation and enforcement of promissory notes and guarantees, foreclosures, receiverships, and workout negotiations and restructurings. She also advocates for clients in audits and appeals, assists clients with issues involving federal tax liens, and advises clients on a wide range of tax matters. In addition to financial services and tax matters, Claire represents physicians in a range of business matters.
