Stokes Lawrence Velikanje Moore & Shore is pleased to announce that Charissa Johnston has been promoted to shareholder.

Charissa is a member of the Yakima office’s Business practice, where she assists closely held businesses with their corporate and real estate needs. She is particularly focused on assisting agricultural businesses with water law matters, Farm Labor Contractor Act compliance, business formations and operations, and the acquisition and sale of business interests and assets. She also structures, negotiates and manages the closing of commercial real estate transactions involving acquisitions, land use and development, and leasing and development.

Charissa joined the firm in 2015 from the Denver firm of Hoffmann, Parker, Wilson & Carberry, P.C.   

Since moving to Yakima, she has become active in the local community, including joining the Downtown Yakima Rotary Club, and serving as both Secretary of the Yakima County Bar Association and Treasurer of the Yakima Chapter of Washington Women Lawyers.
