Brendan Monahan Elected President of the Federal Bar Association of the Eastern District of Washington

Stokes Lawrence Velikanje Moore & Shore Shareholder Brendan Monahan was recently elected President of the board of trustees for the Eastern District of Washington's Federal Bar Association.
The Federal Bar Association is dedicated to promoting the welfare, interests, education, and professional development of attorneys involved in federal law. The officers and trustees of the Eastern District work to promote the highest standards of competence, performance and ethics among the attorneys who appear before the U.S. District Court and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. They also assist in the expeditious appointment of qualified federal judges; encourage positive relations between practitioners and the federal courts; and work to ensure that the federal court system remains responsive to the needs of the public.
Prior to being elected President, Brendan served as a Bar Officer and Trustee as well as a Lawyer Representative to the Ninth Circuit Judicial Conference.
