Legal Practice Assistant - Litigation

We are seeking an experienced practice assistant to work with a dynamic team of litigation attorneys and paralegals in our Seattle office. This is a full-time, hybrid onsite/remote position.

Qualifications:

  • Three or more years of experience as a litigation legal assistant required
  • Possess working knowledge of state and federal court rules and procedures
  • Excellent judgment and strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent composition, grammar and proofreading skills
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Detail oriented with strong sense of organization and prioritization
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat, and initiative to continually improve technology skills
  • Collaborative work style with good sense of humor

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and edit correspondence, pleadings, memoranda, and administrative and court filings under strict deadlines
  • Build relationships with clients, attorneys, court officials and other personnel
  • Perform conflicts checks and open new client matters
  • Manage calendars and project deadlines
  • Manage, organize and maintain electronic and physical files
  • Organize and prioritize workload
  • Provide general administrative support to attorneys and paralegals

The expected salary range for this position is $65,000 to $95,000 per year. Compensation for this position will be determined based on the individual’s qualifications and experience.
