BEWARE: Fraudulent Secretary of State Notices Target Washington Businesses

We recently became aware of a scam in which letters purporting to be from the Washington Secretary of State’s Office are being sent to business entities demanding payment of $230 for certain filings, which is well beyond the cost of most filings with the Secretary of State’s Office.
