Background & Interests

Prior to joining the firm, J.P. served as judicial clerk to Hon. Edward F. Shea of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Washington. Before that, he served as a judicial clerk to Hon. Margaret H. Downie at the Arizona State Court of Appeals.

In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family. He also enjoys hiking, camping and canoeing—longtime interests that began when he was young. Growing up in Yakima, J.P. was actively involved in scouting and ultimately earned the rank of Eagle Scout. Now he looks forward to getting involved in the community and raising his family in his hometown.
