Tom Lerner Speaks on Behalf of the Washington State Bar Foundation

Stokes Lawrence Shareholder Tom Lerner appeared in a video promoting the Washington State Bar Foundation, which was presented at the Washington State Bar annual awards dinner. The WSBF provides financial support for programs of the Washington State Bar Association that promote diversity within the legal profession and enhance the public’s access to, and understanding of, the justice system.

In the video, Tom, who just completed a three-year term as WSBF Trustee, stated, “Our whole system of justice is dependent upon our legitimacy, and our legitimacy is dependent upon people feeling like they have access to resources for dispute resolution. A significant portion of our population don’t feel like they have access to the courts in a meaningful way, so we need to provide those resources.”
