Kelly Noonan Served as Master of Ceremony at the King County Bar Foundation Breakfast With Ceremony

Kelly Noonan, Stokes Lawrence Managing Shareholder and President of the King County Bar Foundation, served as the Master of Ceremony for the foundation’s Breakfast With Champions on April 28, 2021. Each year, KCBF’s Breakfast of Champions raises essential funds for the county’s large demand for pro bono services and serves as a safety net to tens of thousands of King County residents each year. In addition, the foundation provides scholarships to over 50 minority law students every year. 

King County is expecting record high demand for pro bono services as the pandemic comes to and end and restrictions on evictions are lifted. Over 150,000 to 200,000 residents are behind in rent. It is thought that 90% of landlords have legal representation, while 90% of tenants do not. This year’s Breakfast With Champions will directly impact the Housing Justice Project that provides free legal assistance to renters facing eviction in King County.
