The Ninth Circuit recently affirmed judgment in favor of our client, a long-time provider of financial transaction processing services, on its claims for cybersquatting, unfair competition, and violation of the Washington Consumer Protection Act against a cybersquatter and self-described "internet entrepreneur." In a published opinion, the appeals court affirmed judgment for Vericheck on all claims as well as the award of attorneys’ fees, costs and maximum statutory damages. Shannon Jost represented Vericheck.
