Katie Groblewski Named to American College of Trust and Estate Counsel

Stokes Lawrence is pleased to announce that Shareholder Katie Groblewski was offered admission to the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC).  ACTEC is an association of 2,500 trust and estate lawyers in the U.S. and Canada who are peer-elected to membership.  Members of the College demonstrate the highest level of integrity, commitment to the profession, and competence and experience as trust and estate counselors. They are considered leaders in the profession and have made substantial contributions to trusts and estates law through writing, teaching, legislative drafting, policymaking and bar leadership activities.

Katie assists individuals and families with estate planning and trust and estate administration in Washington and Oregon.  Katie also provides counsel to clients who are serving as the fiduciary of a trust or estate or who are beneficiaries of trusts or estates.  She also works with business owners and their families on succession planning for all types of businesses.

She is the fourth Stokes Lawrence attorney to be inducted into ACTEC. Doug Lawrence, George Velikanje and RoseMary Reed are also members.
