Seventeen Stokes Lawrence attorneys have been named to the 2017 Washington Super Lawyers and Rising Stars lists, including several named to the “top lawyers” lists.

Each year Super Lawyers asks lawyers to nominate their peers who they think exemplify professional achievement in their field. Super Lawyers then conducts independent research to select the individuals named to the list. Up to 5 percent of the lawyers in the state are named to the Super Lawyers list, and no more than 2.5 percent are named as Rising Stars.

Kelby Fletcher, Doug Lawrence and George Velikanje have each been named to the list for 15 years. Kelby was also named as one of the Top 100 Lawyers in Washington. Additionally, Karolyn Hicks, Shannon Jost and Aviva Kamm were all named to the Top 50 Women Lawyers list.
