U.S. News & World Report and Best Lawyers announced today the 2014 “Best Law Firms” rankings. Stokes Lawrence was ranked as a “Best Law Firm” in several categories, with the firm achieving top-tier rankings in Arbitration, Employment Law - Individuals, Employment Law - Management, Labor Law - Management, Litigation - Intellectual Property, and Litigation - Labor & Employment in the Seattle area, and Trusts & Estates Law in Seattle and Yakima. The firm was also recognized for its work in Copyright Law, Trademark Law and Mediation in Seattle, and ranked nationally for Copyright Law, Labor Law - Management, and Litigation - Labor & Employment.

To be eligible for ranking, a firm must have at least one lawyer listed in The Best Lawyers in America. Eight Stokes Lawrence lawyers were named to the 2014 “Best Lawyers” list. Lawyers outside of the firm and clients are then asked to evaluate those firms that are under consideration. Firms included in the “Best Law Firms’ list are recognized for professional excellence and receive persistently impressive ratings from both clients and peers.

“We are honored to be named as a Best Law Firm,” said Kelly Noonan, managing shareholder. “This distinction is especially meaningful because of the influence our clients and peers had on the decision. We work hard to provide our clients with exceptional service and we genuinely appreciate that they have rated us so highly.”

This is the second year Stokes Lawrence has been named as a “Best Law Firm.” Earlier this year, attorneys Carolyn Cairns, Kelby Fletcher, Shannon Jost, Doug Lawrence, Rick Rasmussen, Leslie RuiterMorrie Shore and George Velikanje were named to the 2014 list of The Best Lawyers in America.
