Stokes Lawrence Wins Dismissal for Yakima Valley Community Foundation

Stokes Lawrence attorneys Kelby Fletcher and Brendan Monahan successfully defended the Yakima Valley Community Foundation against a claim filed by the Foundation’s former CEO, John Colgan, who argued he had been wrongfully terminated. Yakima Superior Court Judge Susan Hahn rejected Colgan’s claims, agreeing with the Foundation’s arguments that Colgan’s claims had no legal basis because, among other reasons, Colgan signed a severance agreement providing him with $350,000 compensation upon his termination. Read More.
