Seattle-area business news outlet Puget Sound Business Journal (PSBJ) will recognize Stokes Lawrence Managing Shareholder Kelly Twiss Noonan among the region’s most influential women leaders during their Women of Influence Awards event taking place Thursday, November 10, 2022. PSBJ annually honors women within the business community who are driving growth, innovation, and the economy in the Puget Sound area. This year’s class includes 13 women leaders from organizations such as Microsoft, Fred Hutch Cancer Center, and Laird Norton Wealth Management, among others.

Kelly was nominated to the firm’s Managing Shareholder role in 2002, and has steadily led Stokes Lawrence through influence, effort, talent, and consistent values-based strategic leadership. In addition to actively mentoring members of the firm, Kelly launched a female managing partner networking group for Seattle area law firms. For many years, Kelly was one of a small number of female law firm managing partners in Seattle. As more women rose to leadership positions in law firms, Kelly created a forum where they could connect, support, and share successes and challenges with each other. She is an active member of CEO Connect, a peer advisory group where regional business leaders regularly meet to support and mentor one another and was actively involved in the Women’s President’s Organization in years past. She is also a past president of the King County Bar Foundation, a charitable arm of the King County Bar Association which supports the pro bono legal service programs of the Association and provides grants to the University of Washington and Seattle University Schools of Law for minority law student scholarships.

Kelly was also named to PSBJ’s 2020 Power 100 list.
